The personal data we process as a website visitor

On this site, you can use most of the features without your personal data being recorded. This means that you can visit most of the site anonymously. In a small number of cases, it is necessary to collect your personal data. For example, when you sign up for (e-mail) alerts or send an e-mail. This data is used to respond to your request. Your personal details will only be collected when you are asked to provide your name, email address or other details that can be traced directly back to you. Your personal details will only be used to improve the Pension Fund’s services to you and to provide you with the information you need. We have taken measures to ensure that your details are processed securely.

In order to provide you with information, the Pension Fund website requires certain data. For example, your IP address is used to locate where the information should be sent. An IP address is not associated with a person, but with the location from which the internet is accessed. If you access the internet from work, this is your company’s IP address. If you use your home computer, your internet service provider is usually passed on.

In addition to your IP address, a number of other details are recorded, such as the type of connection, the browser you use, your computer’s operating system and the pages you have visited on the website. This data is collected by the Pension Fund and is only used to tailor the information on the website to the wishes and preferences of visitors. By recording the most frequently visited pages, the Pension Fund can adapt the navigation menu to meet your needs. The information can also be used to detect any technical problems.
