Board makes important decisions

At the beginning of February, the board made important decisions about the transition to the new pension scheme. In this message, you can read what has been decided and what this means for you in the coming period.

An important step taken

Good news: the transition file for the transition to the new pension scheme was officially submitted to De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) and the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) on Tuesday. This is an important milestone in the transition to the new pension system, which we have been considering for some time.

Preparations for new regulation continue

Behind the scenes, we are working hard on the transition to the new pension scheme. Social partners have asked the pension fund to transfer (i.e. transfer accrued pension entitlements) to a flexible contribution scheme. That is what we are currently working on.

Not only we had to postpone

The transition to the new pension system is a major undertaking. All funds must have made the switch by 1 January 2027 at the latest. Many funds wanted to do so earlier, but it now appears that adjusting the schedule is the rule rather than the exception.

Transition to new scheme postponed

Robeco Pension Fund has decided to postpone the transition to the new pension scheme for at least six months. We will use the coming period to reassess the situation and determine a realistic and responsible date for the transition.

Framework for your new pension announced

Social partners (employer and works council) have established the framework for the pension that will apply to you in 2026.

Progress on the Wtp

For over a year now, the social partners and the pension fund have been working on the transition to the new pension system.
